Candle Safety Instructions

Last Updated: [10/05/2026]

Candles must be used carefully and responsibly. By purchasing or using candles, wax melts, wax sachets, or related products from Verohi Creations, customers agree to follow all safety instructions provided by us.

4.1 General Candle Safety

  1. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  2. Keep candles away from children and pets.
  3. Keep candles away from curtains, fabrics, paper, furniture, electronics, dried flowers, packaging, and all flammable materials.
  4. Keep candles away from fans, open windows, air conditioners, strong airflow, or drafts.
  5. Burn candles only on a stable, flat, level, and heat-resistant surface.
  6. Do not place candles near the edge of a table, shelf, or counter.
  7. Do not move or touch a burning candle or hot candle jar.
  8. Do not burn candles while sleeping.
  9. Do not burn candles in unattended rooms.

4.2 Burn Time

Do not burn a candle for more than approximately 3–4 hours in one session.

Burning for too long may cause overheating, excessive soot, fragrance issues, container stress, uneven burning, or safety risks.

4.3 First Burn and Wax Pool

During use, allow a full and even wax pool to form across the surface before extinguishing the candle, especially during the first burn.

This helps avoid tunneling and supports even burning.

4.4 Wick Trimming

Trim the wick to approximately 5 mm before each burn.

A wick that is too long may cause a high flame, soot, smoke, uneven burning, overheating, or unsafe candle behavior.

4.5 When to Stop Using the Candle

Stop using the candle when a small layer of wax remains at the bottom of the jar.

Do not burn the candle until the jar is completely empty, as this may cause overheating or container damage.

4.6 Jar and Container Safety

Do not use a candle if the jar or container is cracked, chipped, broken, overheated, unstable, or damaged.

Allow the jar to cool completely before touching, cleaning, moving, or reusing it.

4.7 Wax Melts and Wax Sachets

Wax melts and wax sachets are different from normal candles and must be used only as intended.

  • Use wax melts only with suitable wax warmers or approved heating devices.
  • Do not add water to wax melts.
  • Do not overheat wax melts.
  • Do not leave wax warmers unattended.
  • Keep wax sachets away from direct heat, flame, sunlight, children, pets, clothes, polished surfaces, and delicate materials unless specifically instructed.
  • Do not burn wax sachets like candles.

4.8 Disclaimer

Improper use may cause fire, injury, burns, soot, tunneling, uneven burning, overheating, container damage, smoke, surface damage, or other harm.

Verohi Creations is not liable for damage, injury, loss, accident, or issue caused due to improper storage, handling, burning, melting, placement, or use of candles, wax melts, wax sachets, or related products.
